Reasonably large and perfectly clean hotel, location was great and perfect short walk to the adjoining pub / restaurant, whitely bay which is gorgeous, and North East. Lovely modern and brand-new units for a family event. Modern decor throughout and efficient staff who all provided a great service.

The room was clean and the bedding and towels were of good quality. The cleanliness was excellent and the staff were polite and courteous.
The Wi-fi was not the best and the mobile phone service was very poor. The service at the pub next door was also disappointing, with long waits at the bar and tables not being cleared after customers had left.

Loved my Christmas weekend at this hotel! the friendly staff sent a lovely handwritten card and even left hot chocolate and marshmallows in my room! the location was great, with easy access to local supermarkets, a few pubs and even a nearby country park for a morning run. the room was clean and comfy with a great walk-in shower, and the restaurant was pretty good too!
Disliked that the service at the pub next door was a bit slow, but overall had a fantastic stay and would definitely come back again! .
